The last days, Max spent a lot of time in the cold water, he feels sick, feverish, stuffy nose. In the evening, we look at the news, the flu just appeared in the world. With Carine, we do not know how to break it to Max, who is at the bottom of his bed. After a small explanation, he took that as a joke without really believing us, I think. For my part, I left the next day.

The press talks about quarantine, pandemic, with the typical exaggeration of the Mexican newspapers, just when I have to take a plane.
I find a mask at the Carlos’s father drugstore, and on the way!
The domestic flight takes place more or less well, even if I wonder if the pilot feels well due to the acceleration and the slowing down. Anyway. Arrived at the airport, half the people have masks.

I put on mine, small souvenir of Japan, they give me a questionnaire, do your eyes sting euh… I marked “no” while I had some conjunctivitis but more by sea water than anything else, everybody is a little parano, and every 3 minutes, we wonder if we do not feel one of the symptoms.
It was the beginning of the international panic, we do not know much, and the media adds a maximum.
At the end, nobody came to ask me for my sheet with all my lies in it, the plane lands in Paris, and we were straight away mixed with more than 1000 other people …
Coming out among the first ones, Canal + and France Inter interview me about the Mexican flu, I went straight home, I took a shower, shut off the TV which found a new alert every hour, and I slept by thinking again about these virgin waves, unrolling endlessly.
