The Set up is amazing, it’s point after point.
You have to drive on small sketchy dirt road, turn right, left, right, impossible to find on your own or with any GPS, it takes a long time to get to a spot to another one.
At the car park, you have to walk on a burning sand usually 10 to 25 minutes to get to the point. Carrying my kite was alright but Manu and Carine carrying their windsurf gear was a mission.
The major problem for me was to launch my kite. Easy on a big beach, but with a mountain of 250 meters upwind on each point , it’s kind of a mission.
Different option are available: walking downwind enough to get some wind, going to the edge of the point, climbing rocks with my kite up to catch some fresh air, or to swim. In fact i used those three possibilities.
The wind was picking up around noon, 25 knots max, perfect side shore.
First day we try the first point, i walked downwind, launch and race upwind for 25 minutes.

The wave was really perfect with a hollow section at the beginning, then a long clean section. The mountain make the wave very glassy, but the thing is that you have to kick out of the wave before the end, cause there is no more wind. If you do it too late, good luck. That’s happen to me one day, too excited by a perfect wave, i couldn’t let go the section, like a kid who can’t let go a yummy candy. Going for the last roller, hitting the section, and my kite went down with 0 knots of wind.
I start to swim downwind as fast as i could cause the current was pushing me more inside.
My kite behind me, i was swimming in the middle of the sea, far from the beach, little bit worried by all the thing that supposed to swim around me (when i came back to France a surfer died cause of a shark not too far from there).
After 20 minutes my kite start to hit some gust and came slowly from behind me to the front and finally relaunch…ouf
But all those obstacle worth it, just three friends on a perfect spot, it’s a luxury now.
We try 5 spots, 5 points, with same kind of set up, going to the peak was always a challenged, but riding the wave was always incredible.
