By exploring day after day the ends of the world, it was time to finally discover, “the beginning of the world”.
At the car park, everybody is welcoming each other, it’s the typical characteristics of these kind of spots, respect and mutual aid above all.
Currents here, rocks there, foams, seaweeds, and no-one to rescue you in case of, a three miles swimming diploma is required.
Thanks for the check up, time to go. I phone Fabienne d’Ortoli, a local she is used to this spot, who confirms me that the only way to take off is between the rocks.
She’ll meet us… after finishing her pancakes.(local food)
Since a long time, Thierry Martinez, sail photographer, wants to shoot kiteboarding. A small message by Skype and he arrives straight away… 93 miles later, he’s set with his boots, his fur and his woolly hat.
The line up is splendid, perfect line, side shore wind, beautiful peak, sun, this kind of spot always brings me a smile (after all, I could also cry).
Eight windsurfers in the water among them mister Ronald “pédago windsurf” Richoux, lots of set, lots of space, lots of smiles, a good atmosphere in the water, a quite friendly spot.
