The following day windguru announces the same thing, wind a little more offshore, that should make the wave smoother.
Today i take my 12 meters, the wind is lighter, and from the beach i can’t really feel it. Thanks again to the sea grass for the co-operation to launch my kite!!
i arrived near the island, the spot looks splendid, is drawn better than yesterday, and the peak easier to locate.
Ronan is there with all the crew, equipped a little more warmly than the daybefore.
And it set out again for two hours of bursts, of adrenalin, I find the same kind of feelings than Teahupoo, even if the wave opens less, the descent in this famous hole gets its batch of feeling. The green color of the wave, the cold, the current, the large disordered swell, adds mystery in this places. Then the tide decides that we played enough, Bruno proposes me to go to see another wave a few kilometers downwind.
The wave is large, not very hollow and breaks especially on a stone that neither Bruno or me had seen!! Small stress in the bottom, but it passed. We decided to join the closest beach and to do some hitchhiking . And hitchhiking at the end of the world of Brittany in December, wet, full of sand, and with kites and board, it is a challenge!
We will arrive at the car after 2 hours of waiting, shaking like never, almost blue, but laughing of those two perfect days.
Thanks to all the Korrigan (“small-dwarf” a fairy like spirit of Brittany), who make those two days perfect.
