Oleron Surfkite Festival
On Friday evening, i went to Oleron Island, an island on the French Atlantic coast, for the opening night of the “Oleron Surfkite Festival” at the Eldorado Cinema.
During the evening “O’také association” presented a selection of the best movies of kite wave riding in front of riders, partners, press and curious public.
At the end, I present the movie “Positivo Mozambique”, produced last year. It’s really nice to see a film projected on a huge screen.
I then formally opened the waiting period for the three weekends chosen by the organizers to implement the wave contest.
It was also the opportunity to discover some wonderful “picture” by renowned photographer Frank Socha, including a unique snapshot of the first barrel with a kite taken in 2004 in One Eye.
This exhibition is held in the lobby of the Eldorado cinema until the end of the waiting period Sunday, October 3rd, 2010.
The night end at the restaurant “assiette du capitaine “, the best table here in Oléron held by Luke, a kite surfer.
