Difficult day, raised by the sun on the Haleakala volcano at 5 am, then by a rainbow (whereas there was no cloud), the wind blew already extremely.
Arrived at the spot at 11H00, (it’s forbidden before) 2 meters waves in Lanes, 25 knots perfect for the 7 meters…
A quite beautiful day even if the wave of Lanes are finally not very clean. Then I went back to the water on another easier spot Kanaha to finish at the sunset. Tired and happy after as much of navigation, some suchis, a beer and in the bed.
Still a routine day in Hawaii, raised by the sun on the volcano, then by the same rainbow which is always in the same place whereas it does not rain (it is worse than a theme park). On the way to Lanes, small wave, a little rain…time to prepare and the sun and waves of 3 meters arrived suddenly like a theme park like I say to you.
Hard to go in the water (to lanes we have to walk on a flagstone infested of sea urchin before throwing itself in the sea) then 2 hours of pleasure all alone on the spot (better than disneyland).
Washed up (very clean by the waves) I turn over to Hookipa to look at some windsurfing action, Robby Naish, Jason Polakow, Levi Siver (still Disneyland) and to crown the whole some rainbow appear and end up with the sunset.
What’s next tomorrow????
